I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our lives, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.

Digital memory is something that I seem to be unable to ever have enough of. It feels like megabytes and gigabytes have become a permanent part of my day to day existence. Ever since I bought a Micro SD Card for my DS flash card, I've been constantly vigilant for high memory at low prices. I feel like I'm going insane.

Virtual Memory sure is becoming cheaper these days. I'm curious as to when we will eventually hit the ratio of 1 cent to 1 Gigabyte.

I can't wait for the day when I will finally be able to afford a 20 terabyte harddrive, hahaha. But for now I will be content with having a 32 gigabyte Micro SD in my R4i.

Buying memory cards is such a chore... You have to search online for prices, sort through which ones are legit, step out and walk around a bunch of shops, compare prices, finally buy your memory, and then hope that the price doesn't fall in the next two weeks or so.

I've been done in by rapid price drops in the past... especially this one time when I bought a Micro SD card for my DS flashcard at what I mistakenly assumed was a steal, only to later see that it fell five bucks in a week.

Nice post... Looks like solid-state memory is really beginning to take off. Hopefully we'll start seeing decreasing solid state harddisk prices soon. 5 dollar 32 GB Micro SD Cards for your DS flash card... sounds good to me!
